About The Ark Vet Lindfield
We are dedicated to caring for your pets with expertise and kindness.
Founded in 1996 by Joe Daley, The Ark Veterinary Hospital filled a gap in the market for an experienced and personalized veterinary service on Sydney’s North Shore. Our uninterrupted service to the pet community is based at our convenient Lindfield practice, where our team of qualified veterinarians and support staff are ready to meet your pet’s needs. The Ark Veterinary Hospital is a locally run, locally owned business. We are the longest established practice in the Roseville, Lindfield and Killara areas.
The experienced team at the Ark Veterinary Hospital delivers a wide range of health care services to pet owners. We understand while you want the best for your pet, you are often busy juggling family and work commitments. We enhance the close bond you have with your pet by providing a veterinary service you can trust and rely on. Our team understand your pet is an important member of your family.
Having four children of his own, Dr Joe efficiently juggles his family with his work and social commitments. This has enabled Dr Joe to see that local people need a punctual, efficient team to help take care of their pets. We understand that your pets are important members of your family, and sometimes you need a little extra help with them. We want to make caring for your pets easier so you can spend more time on other important areas of your life.

Liz is a qualified Veterinary Nurse who has become a familiar face at The Ark since early 2013. She completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at Richmond Tafe College in 2012, and wishes to pursue practice management in the future. Liz is unfortunately unable to have pets in her inner-city apartment, so loves spending as much time as she can with everyone else’s! In her spare time, Liz enjoys playing cricket, reading, listening to music, and dog-sitting around the North Shore.
Marjan graduated from the University of Belgrade with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. He then moved to Australia in October 2012 to live with his family, and has been working at The Ark as a veterinary nurse since July 2013. He particularly enjoys surgical nursing and has a strong passion for Australian wildlife. Marjan enjoys spending time with his two children, and would like to set up an apiary like he had in Serbia.
Lia started at The Ark in 2014 and has become a regular friendly face at reception. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney, and hopes to transfer to Veterinary Science. Lia does not currently have any pets at home, so she loves spending time caring for our boarding cats.
Kim began working at The Ark Vet part-time in 2015. She has completed a Certificate IV in Companion Animals at Ultimo TAFE, and is currently studying Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Kim has bred Golden Retrievers for over 30 years, has successfully competed at all levels of showing, and has won many Best in Shows all over Australia.

Alex started out at The Ark Vet in 2012 working one day a week through work experience. Since then, Alex has started working part time as a trainee nurse while she completes her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. When she is not working or studying, Alex spends her free mornings or afternoons with her horse, Diesel.
