2019 in review by dr. Joe

To all our dear clients,

First of all we like to thank you for the trust you place in our veterinary team throughout 2019. We appreciate our relationship and the opportunity to care for your pets. We take pride in treating every pet that comes through our doors as our very own, and we extend our best wishes to you and yours for health and happiness in 2020.

2019 was another busy year for The Ark Veterinary Hospital. As an “A Class” hospital our diagnostic and treatment equipment are being constantly updated with tools to keep up with international trends. Our staff continue to attend domestic and overseas veterinary conferences to maintain the highest professional standards.

We assisted the drought stricken farmers with the “Buy a Bale ” program, started a food drive for the hard working farm dogs and cats that had also been effected by the drought. We also continued to support the Guide Dogs through our fundraisers.

Sadly many of our senior patients are now reaching into their very late geriatric years and one of our oldest patients “Razz”, passed away at the grand age of 23 years.

On a personal note I competed at the World Masters Rowing in Lake Velence Hungary and celebrated a significant wedding anniversary with Jane. Dr Katy became engaged , and  Alex attended the RSI institute for a dressage bootcamp and rode top FEI trained horses for a week.

Natalie, one of or nurses with an interest in animal behaviour, attained the Excellent Level at the Obedience Rally with her dogs and her sister Danielle continues to assist with difficult dog behaviours. Katherine completed her Certificate 2 Veterinary Nursing and started studying certificate 4 vet nursing.  Kat our experienced groomer, continued to wow clients with her grooming skills.

We look forward to continuing to offer the highest level of customer service and professionalism to you, our clients, and your pets in 2020!

Kind regards,

Dr. Joe and the Ark Team
