Dr. Joe Daley
Dr Joe Daley graduated from the University of Sydney in 1987. His passion for providing quality veterinary health care and love for animals led him to start the Ark Veterinary Hospital in Roseville in 1996.
Before re-establishing the Ark at its current location in Lindfield, he also operated a mobile veterinary service. He acquired the Australian College of Veterinary Scientist’s Pharmacology Membership in 1998 and the Surgery Membership in 2003. Joe lives with his wife, four children and their beautiful dogs Willow and Daisy.
Dr. Katy Kirby
Dr Katy is a born and bred Sydneysider. She graduated from Sydney University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Science (Veterinary) First Class Honours. After working for a few years in Sydney, she has spent 2 years locuming throughout the UK, before starting at the Ark in 2018.
Outside of work, Dr Katy enjoys bushwalking with her husband and baking with friends. She looks forward to starting her menagerie later this year.
Dr. Kirsty Gyles
Dr. Kirsty graduated from the University of Sydney in 1988. She began her career in mixed farm practice in rural New South Wales and Victoria, gaining valuable experience before venturing to the UK for further professional growth. Eventually, she returned to the North Shore of Sydney to focus on small animal practice, where she found her true passion.
Kirsty is deeply committed to providing the highest standard of care to her patients and continually expanding her knowledge in the field. Outside of work, you’ll often find Kirsty exploring the Northern Beaches, accompanied by her beloved Springer Spaniel, enjoying stand up paddling and time at the beach.

Annie joined the team at the Ark in June, 2020 while she was completing her Certificate III in Veterinary Nursing. In her free time Stephanie can be found exploring Sydney and its surrounds or relaxing at home with a cup of tea, her partner and their three cats: exotic shorthair Ava (affectionately known as “The Squish”) and tabby kittens Bubbles and Squeak.

Growing up in beautiful Brazil, Ray has had a lifelong passion for animals. A qualified vet in her home country, Ray worked for two years in a canine veterinary hospital, before traveling to Australia to broaden her horizons and improve her English skills.

She loves working as part of a team and is always excited to hear stories from owners about the wonderful lives and personalities of their pets.
Lizzie is a cat mum to three; lovely Claude, evil Xena, and crazy Pickles. She spends her free time playing netball, horse riding, and catching up with friends.

Currently in high school, Georgia hopes to pursue a career in the field of veterinary medicine. She has a deep passion for all animals, with two cats at home and an interest in horses and large animals. Before joining the Ark, Georgia worked as a stablehand and enjoyed all aspects of working with horses, including riding.
