Dr. Joe Daley
Dr Joe Daley graduated from the University of Sydney in 1987. His passion for providing quality veterinary health care and love for animals led him to start the Ark Veterinary Hospital in Roseville in 1996.
Before re-establishing the Ark at its current location in Lindfield, he also operated a mobile veterinary service. He acquired the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists’ Pharmacology Membership in 1998 and the Surgery Membership in 2003.
Dr Joe has a special interest in brachycephalic and orthopaedic surgery, ultrasound, and diagnostic consulting. When not at home with his family, Joe can be found fishing, rowing, or having adventure holidays around the world.

Dr. Katy Kirby
Dr Katy is a born and bred Sydneysider. She graduated from Sydney University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Science (Veterinary) First Class Honours. After working for a few years in Sydney, she spent 2 years locuming throughout the UK, before starting at the Ark in 2018.
Dr Katy has a special interest in diabetes management, comprehensive oral health assessments, and emergency ultrasound.
Dr Katy spends her time away from work chasing her two rambunctious boys and two adventurous cats.

Dr. Kirsty Gyles
Dr. Kirsty graduated from the University of Sydney in 1988. She began her career in mixed farm practice in rural New South Wales and Victoria, gaining valuable experience before venturing to the UK for further professional growth. Eventually, she returned to the North Shore of Sydney to focus on small animal practice, where she found her true passion.
Kirsty is deeply committed to providing the highest standard of care to her patients and continually expanding her knowledge in the field. Outside of work, you’ll often find Kirsty exploring the Northern Beaches, accompanied by her beloved Springer Spaniel, enjoying stand up paddling and time at the beach.

Jade graduated from the University of Sydney in 2012 and completed internships in zoological and exotic animal medicine internationally during her training. She has worked in emergency and specialist hospital settings across Australia and now practices through Urban Exotics Vet, providing dedicated veterinary care for rabbits, birds, and other exotic species with a focus on personalised care and long-term wellbeing.
Jade has extensive experience in rabbit and exotic animal medicine and surgery. In 2018, she attained Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (Avian Health). Her professional interests include clinical nutrition, palliative care, and improving quality of life for complex and chronically ill patients.
